Mrs and Mister Osttun had always dreamed of having a beautiful home in a place where the sun always shines, to forget those long, cold winters in his native town of Dal, Bergen, Norway.

So, for 10 years long, they were thinking about where to make this dream real, once that they could retire. They had visited many property exhibitions and finally they decided to explore the possibilities that could be found in the Canary Islands.

During three weeks they visited the island of Gran Canaria, Tenerife, the island of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. They decided that the best option, the most suitable to their budget was in Fuerteventura and then decided to buy from a developer who offered them authentic guarantees, because they didn’t want to take any risks. Mrs and Mr Osttun found and Anjoca advert and decided to visit the pilot houses of the hill.

His first impression was final. It was what they were looking for so long.

This story is well known to his two daughters, five grandchildren and grandmother of 92 years who during his last visit to the island, after three weeks of stay, did not want to leave.

The Osttun always say that each time they come to the island, to their beautiful three bedrroms house in La Colina, are always glad for that choice. They really enjoy every day the relax, peace and the company of their neighbours from all parts of Europe. They have found "their place in the sun" and recommend it.

Lilly Longhurst arrived in Fuerteventura Golf Resort at 8 years from England. Her parents decided to move to a beautiful villa in the Cascadas with excellent views overlooking the golf course. Lilly now goes to school in the town, just 3 km far from her new home and she is well integrated with her new friends.

Her father played golf and she began to be fascinated when arrived to the island. She began to make her training courses at the Academy of Fuerteventura Golf Club and learned very quickly. She did not take long to show her qualities as a player and participating in tournaments with adults got good results. One day a guest of the Elba Palace Golf Hotel saw her at the golf course. He recommended to their parents to go on with golf.

Lilly is going to spend a period of training at a school specializing in players like her, at the prestigious Sotogrande club. She will have to leave their beautiful home on the island for this time, but when she comes back will be an excellent player and will enjoy the views over the countryside that have provided her the opportunity to discover her golfer aspect.

I’ve been born in Navarra, but living and working already since 3 years on Fuerteventura. I’m the Pro and Sport Director of Fuerteventura Golf Club. It’s been important to me to find a place where I can work and enjoy my leisure time in an adorable clima. I’m practicing any kind of surfen, but also any other nautical sport activity, so I was looking for a high class golf course, which included all my desires. I finally found this on Fuerteventura Golf Resort.

In Los Arcos I’m close to my work, next to the sea and within the island, in the spot of highest standard. It’s just side to side to all important points of the island.And Los Arcos just offers all this to me!

I can use the heated pool all year around and from my terrace I can look to the sea. All this on ground floor and with a garden, where I can grow my own bananas.

Also my friends and family are enjoying this place.
